French fries or frites, chips, fries, finger chips or French-fried potatoes are batons of deep-fried potato. French fries are served hot, either soft or crispy, and generally eaten as part of lunch or dinner, or on their own as a snack, and they commonly appear on the menus of fast food restaurants. French fries are generally salted and are often served with ketchup; in many countries they are topped instead with other condiments or toppings, including vinegar, mayonnaise, or other local specialities. Fries can also be topped more elaborately, as in the dishes ofpoutine and chili cheese fries. Sometimes, fries are made with sweet potatoes instead of potatoes, are baked instead of fried, or are cut into unusual shapes, such as curly fries, wavy fries, or tornado fries.
French fries is the second role to burgers, they act as support dish if the person is still hungry after eating burger and they need to finish up the fries to made them full loaded.
French Fries can also be any second role dishes such as spaghetti, pizza, chicken. It can also replace rice and bread.In the early 20th century, the term "French fried" was being used in the sense of "deep-fried", for other foods such as onion rings or chicken.
French Fries is easy peasy lemon squeezy to make. not as simple as burger.

Step 3: Fill a dry pan with vegetable oil about 1/3 of the way full. It is best to use either peanut oil or a blended oil, which is usually a mix of canola and soybean oil. Set the stove on medium-high heat. If your stove has number settings, set it to 8.

Step 4: Using a sharp, clean knife, chop the potatoes with caution. You can make the slices as thick or thin as you want, just make sure they are all about the same thickness.

Step 5: Make sure the vegetable oil is hot before you put the potatoes in. You can test the oil by putting a single fry in there. If it starts cooking immediately, and quickly, the oil is ready.

Step 6: Cook the potato slices in the oil until they are golden brown. Do not burn them, as they will taste absolutely disgusting!

Step 7: Cool the cooked French fries. Add salt (optional) while still hot to keep the flavor in. Set them on the counter or an area with room temperature to cool. If you attempt to eat the French fries while they're still hot, you will burn your tongue!
